If you need to drive a Roadranger gearbox we can train and assess you for Your HR licence in our Kenworth fitted with a Roadranger gearbox.
No condition will be placed on your licence.
Upgrade to your HC Licence in our Automatic Volvo.
If there is no condition B on your current MR or HR licence then no condition can be placed against your HC licence.
Our Kenworth is perfect for completing your HC licence upgrade to remove a condition B endorsed on your MR or HR licence.

If the assessment is completed in an Auto or Synchromesh gearbox a “B” condition will be endorsed on your licence. This will not allow you to drive a non Synchro/Road Ranger gearbox.
If the assessment is completed in a non Synchromesh/Road Ranger gearbox a condition will not be endorsed on the licence and therefore you can drive any gearbox configuration.

Small trucks with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) of up to 8 tonnes. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than 9 tonnes GVM. Buses that seat more than 12 adults including the driver and a GVM up to 8 tonnes.
To upgrade to this Truck Licence class you must have held a Class C licence (not learner) for at least one year (including red P plates). Any time you've spent on a P1 licence counts, but you can't practice to drive an LR vehicle, or upgrade to an LR licence until you hold a P2 or full class C licence.

Have held a class C licence, (except a learner licence) for at least two years. Any time you've spent on a P1 licence counts, but you can't practice to drive a HR vehicle, or upgrade to a HR licence until you hold a P2 or full class C licence.
Eligibility for P2 is second year of green P's
Articulated vehicles with three or more axles. Heavy rigid vehicle trailer combinations including unladen dolly, with three or more axles. Any towed trailer with a GVM of more than 9 tonnes.
Have held an MR or HR licence for at least one year. Any time you've spent on a P2 MR or HR licence counts, but you can't practice to drive a HC vehicle, or upgrade to a HC licence until you hold a full class MR or HR licence.
B-doubles. Prime mover, low loader dolly and low loader trailer combinations. Road trains.
Have held a HR or HC licence for at least one year. Any time you've spent on a P2 HR licence counts, but you can't practice to drive an MC vehicle, or upgrade to an MC licence until you hold a full class HR or HC licence.

The Training Course must be completed which consists of the criteria listed above. You will be trained and assessed on these criteria, when you are up to standard you will be “signed off”. Once the Training course is completed you will be required to sit the Final Competency Assessment, which is a final drive that will be video recorded as an RMS requirement. After the FCA has been completed successfully You will be issued with a Certificate of Competence
1. Pass the relevant knowledge test (Rigid or Combination).

2. Pass the relevant eyesight test.
3. Obtain the relevant HVCBA Learner Logbook & Guidebook
4. Give us a call and book in your training
5. We train & assess you against the course criteria
6. We perform your final Competency Assessment & issue you with a Certificate of Competence (CoC)
7. Take your CoC to Service NSW & upgrade
